Here is the background:

- I am running with my Galaxy Watch Ultra using Samsung Health
- I am listening to a podcast on Spotify
- Watch Ultra software version: L705USQU1AYCD

Previously, when I would reach a kilometer mark, the podcast would pause and I would hear the voice from Samsung Health telling me about my stats for the last kilometer. For a while now, unsure if it was after an update, the music no longer pauses and the Health voice just plays on top of the podcast making it very difficult to hear.

Is this a known bug or user error? Any settings I should be checking?

No, below the red line as well.

For reference Samsung Health version on phone is 6.30.1.003 and on watch 6.29.8.001

Same versions here. Does not look like theres a setting to raise the volume of the audio guide. It's pretty loud for me though, and my music definitely lowered when the audio guide came on.

That is very weird. I use Spotify for my music player not sure if this is a variable to consider.

This is what I recall it used to happen. If I was listening to music, when the voice guide came in the music volume would lower like you are describing it happens to you. If I was listening to a podcast the behavior was slightly different, the podcast would pause and resume after the audio guide. I could be recalling incorrectly but I hope not.

I have my tracks downloaded to my watch and that's what I listen to. Are your buds connected to the watch or the phone? That may be the difference.

I carry both my watch and phone. My Shokz headphones are connected to my phone.

Always start my Run from Samsung Health on my watch.

Hmm.  I connect my ear gear directly to my watch, not the phone, because of my downloaded music, and because I want not to carry the phone if I don't have to (that's the whole reason for an LTE watch).  I always start the workout from the watch as well.  Maybe the difference is that when listening from the phone, the volume of the music and the guide don't adjust, the way it does on the watch.

You should put  in an error report, because in my opinion, the music should either mute or pause when the guide is activated, regardless of whether you are connected to the phone or watch.  Many people do not have watches, and track their workouts via the phone only as they are not tracking vitals.

Looks like after Samsung Health was updated to version 6.30.2. 031 now the sound pauses. Only tested with a podcast and it does pause as expected.

This is worse for me

If a song changes while i am getting an audio guidance update from my run on samsung health samsung health crashes/closes my run

This is galaxy watch 5 pro, latest update, cleared memory before the run, only had samsung health run and youtube music going - only connected to my earphones (offline).

right at the end of the run (500 m to go), i heard the guidance update, song change, guidance update stopped mid sentence i checked my watch and the run/samsung health had crashed and finished my run early
