After updating my phone (S23 Ultra) to OneUI 6, the button to open the Media Player (usually located at the bottom of the home screen) does not appear while media is playing on the phone. I don't know if this is something I have to reactivate in settings, but I cannot find it anywhere, for the life of me. Has anyone else had this problem?
Have you tried power cycling both the watch and the phone? Also, on the watch or Galaxy Wearable app, go to Watch Settings>Advanced features>Status indicators>make sure this is set to "Show always."
