Is there any way to connect to a new phone on the watch 4 without reseting

You can only have ine phone per watch, but multiple watches per phone. If you have a new phone and want to connect your watch to it, all you have to do us download the wear app in the new phone and then connect your watch. No reset required.

You have to reset the watch but

@saulsetton If you have your GW4 connected to one phone and you want to connect it to another phone, you will need to reset the GW4. 

The GW4 can only be connected to one phone.

Go into the settings on your watch. Choose connections. Then select connect watch to new phone an follow instructions. FWIW i never had to mamually reset my watch. It may have reset as part of the connection pricess, but it was immediately restored from backup (except Samsung Pay, you will have to add your cards back if you use it)
