Galaxy Watch
I upgraded from a galaxy watch 4 classic to the galaxy watch ultra. I'm happy with all aspects except sleep tracking and blood oxygen measurements. My old galaxy watch 4 worked great showing sleep cycles all night long, but now the Ultra is only showing the last sleep cycle (I get up alot to potty - I'm old). That's the main reason I have the watch! What happened Samsung? I shelled out a lot of money for the ultra and the most important part isn't working...

It is possible that you are not truly asleep when you think you are. If all the sensors are working correctly, your vitals might not be reaching the state where rhe watch detects sleep. As we age, we don't sleep as well, due to things such as pain, constant waking, etc. It's also possible your watch is not snug enough and moves around while you sleep.

I realize that and it's been this way since I upgraded the watch. For 7 days, only the last sleep cycle is recorded. I've adjusted the band a little to see if that's the cause, but it is constant that only 1 sleep cycle gets recorded.
My Galaxy watch 4 classic showed all the cycles per night usually 2 or 3 with one large cycle (about 5 hours) for when I do go into a deep sleep.
I've been searching other member comments and there seems to be a common problem with the ultra. Others have complained about the exact same thing. One responses was to cycle the power from normal power to power saving and back. I've tried that too... I imagine I'll turn in the watch ultra for a watch 8 when they come out. It's a $250 trade in...
Thanks for responding. I appreciate it.

Galaxy WatchHave you tried clearing the watch's cache partition? You can downgrade from the ultra to the 6 or 7. I have no issue on my 7 with the sleep tracking.

Thanks for the tips. I've wiped the cache and I'll see how it does. Thank you for responding.
