Anyone else have the brand new watch 5? I'm not getting any notifications to my watch. I've done every troubleshooting possible. All alerts are on/loud, apps have permission, no other watch is connected, etc and I'm still not getting alerts. Quite frustrating for something brand new.

I'm glad you figured it out! I had mine remote accessed from someone at Samsung and they still couldn't find the issue. I'm thinking I just got a faulty watch 😞 I'll know soon

Follow these steps for managing notifications on the watch. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10002855/ 

 

Also, be sure you are wearing the watch correctly.   https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00084602/ The watch should be placed approximately 1 inch above the wrist.

 

Clear the app cache for the Wearables app and Wearables Plug-in.   https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10001372/ 

 

Lastly, reset the watch. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10003368/ 

 

If the notifications are still not working after completing all of the troubleshooting, Submit an error report after replicating the issue. https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Tips-Tricks/How-to-Submit-an-Error-Report/ba-p/3001692
