The Health app doesn't want to show the VO2 Max at all. I've read in several places for earlier models that the GPS has to be in use for the VO2 Max to be calculated since the run distance is important for its calculation.

Obviously, a threadmill complies with that requirement and the Watch Ultra 8 shows it. Indeed, it's calibrated distance may be more exact than what is calculated by GPS.

It's a mystery why Sammy doesn't update the Health app to use this data. For the time being I manually add it to Notes on each treadmill run details.

Anyone else wondering why the watch data for VO2 Max is not being used should really write Sammy to immediately update its Health app and/or give this message a thumbs up (if that's possible - it's my first time here)
