The weirdest thing has happened a couple times and now I'm concerned. For no apparent reason, my watch keeps doin a forced reset. I then have to go through the whole process of setting it up again. This time around it completely changed the way my watch is set up. Face, settings and icon order. Can anyone help me understand why this is happening? This thing cost too much and is only 4 months old. šŸ˜”

Galaxy Watch Ultra here and Z fold 6 and this pile of **bleep** watch resets more often than not. A complete PILE OF **bleep**!!!

So I've had this happen so many times now. Like 11. I've lost count at this point. I tried the delete life 360 thing, still did it. I tried basically everything everyone's advised. I finally turned off LTE and disconnected my plan to see if that might help. Why? I noticed a theme among many was LTE users. What sealed it was seeing non ultra LTE users also experiencing the same issue but any Bluetooth users were not.

I did receive this update from a feedback I made a while back. Not sure when they plan on releasing it or if this was just them trying to placate a squeaky wheel who's been reporting everytime the issue occurs. 1743425965280.jpg

Thanks for sharing the additional details & confirming that removing Life360 did not solve the issue!

This is further evidence that Samsung is clueless regarding the underlying cause.  I'll also continue submitting Feedback/Logs, despite it being crystal clear they either don't look at them, or have no clue how to interpret them.

I'd also have to agree w/ you that such a generic response is exactly that...  A canned response w/ no real commitment on underlying cause, work-arounds, which software update, when it'll be released, etc.  It's a useless response & nothing more.  A dozen updates & 2 years later, maybe it'll be fixed, if this model is not already deprecated.

I suppose the only up-side is that I'm now a pro when it comes to setting up my watch.  Via both a partial backup (because all settings, apps, & watch face configurations don't restore properly) & as a "New Device".

So sad...

Same issue here with galaxy7 watch. I do have life 360 on my phone also. Disabling the app is not an option. Evertime I recharge my phone it prompts me to reconnect to my phone when it seems to already be connected. When I begin the reconnect process it prompts a full reset. This issue seemed to start about a month ago.

83746468282636 million pages of the garbage watch resetting and NOTHING from Samcrap regarding fixing this. PATHETIC....of course it's not like Samsung EVER listens to the customers. If the Z fold 7 doesn't have a bigger/wider cover screen I'm jumping ship. Enough of this garbage.

@Ultraklassic, but what if Samdung releases their new Watch model & they call it the "Ultra2" or "Ultra Ultra"??  šŸ™‚  I haven't yet decided if I'll pre-order it, despite this reset issue STILL occurring @ that time.  HaaHaa...

Anyway, I'm in the same boat.  I'm a long-standing Samsung advocate, but they don't make it easy when they pull games like this.  And it's not like they're struggling financially?  Just money-grabbers who got too big for their own good, no longer caring about the customers who got them where they are.

My Ultra is doing the same thing. Random unpairing. I brought it to the Samsung store in Houston. Those Bozos acted like they didn't have a clue. My ring also has charging issues. Battery only lasts a day. They are finally replacing the ring. I also have an S23, Book notebook and a Samsung tablet. I'm done with Samsung. I will let these products run their course and I'm out!

@userekic68kPs1, they act the same if you call customer service/technical support.  And when you submit "Feedback" w/ logs via the Samsung Members app.

The responses are either: 

1)  Denial (Not aware of this, try factory resetting your watch & phone to resolve)

2)  Insisting that "Regular restarts of your devices are intentional as a form of device maintenance & intended to maintain performance & stability", obviously ignoring the fact a Factory Reset of the watch is the only way to work around this bug.

3)  Making stuff up (Blaming other Apps like Life360) or (Blaming services like Google Play Services or GPS Services) or (Blaming Phone apps that have no integration into the watch) or (Blaming me for letting the battery get too low), etc.

4)  Pretending to acknowledge the issue, insisting a software update has already been released, telling me I must check for software updates & install the latest version.

All said & done, they are either TRULY clueless, or they're being instructed to be clueless.  And NEITHER of those are acceptable.

Maybe if we start submitting BBB claims en masse, that may help push Samsung to get it addressed.

I have a 5 Pro and it does it every time It disconnects from the phone... Ignore it twice and it goes away.
