Galaxy Watch 5 stops recording my swimming

My Galaxy watch 5 stops recording my swimming. I have disabled auto start but this has made no difference.  I recently did a software update before the problem started

Try putting it in recovery mode and clearing the cache.

I've done what you suggest.  Will see what happens when I next swim
