I'm new to the smart watch world.  I have the Galexy 5 Pro watch, and Pixel 7 phone.  The temperature doesn't show on the watch face.  When I tap it, it takes me down a path that says "add".  Taping the weather app on the watch also says add, and gestures to the phone.  Is it looking for the Samsung Weather app on my phone (which I do not have)? I am not able to locate the Samsung Weather app on google play store.  Thanks for your suggestions.

The watch app is likely asking you to add a location, but is unable to do so due to a compatibility issue, given that your device is a pixel.

Samsung Weather is proprietary and is only available on Samsung devices, which is why you can't find it in the play store and is also why "manage on phone" leads to a dead-end. Your best option is likely to try a third party weather app such as AccuWeather on your watch.

Thank you. Noted.  I will stop trying to find the native Samsung Weather app from google store for my pixel phone.  If I can please ask a follow up question then...

The "watch face" with missing weather info is the default "Pro Analog".  Is it possible for me to modify that particular "Complication 3" to receive its data from a third party weather app?

Very much appreciated your concise and quick response on the forum.

As long as the watch app you choose has coded complication support, then yes. Even if it doesn't, you can set a complication to launch the app. The downside to this method would be the inability to pull weather data and display directly on the watchface.
