Galaxy WatchIts already been posted here about the AOD being broken with the workout screen after the latest watch update. But it also appears to have affected the GPS accuracy as well. It might not be noticiable for some unless your doing long distance workouts, but my regular runs were typically around 7.1 - 7.15km with great consistancy. And when you looked at the map, the gps tracking lines were always clean and straight, which with the watch 7 is attribured to its dual gps design. But now immediately after the update which had already broken the AOD workout screen for live data, i am getting poor gps tracking lines and the last two runs coming out to over 7.3km for the exact same route. Which it had never done in the past. It feels like they have potentially adjusted the gps settings to try save some battery and sacrificed the gps accuracy as a result.
It is a MASSIVE understatement on how frustrated i am about this new update and has caused me much distress because of how i hate when things mess with my exercuse routine so destructively.

Galaxy WatchHi! Is this an auto-detected workout?
If yes, try these things: To turn on the precise location for each of your exercises, go to the "Exercise" tab on Samsung Health on your watch. Click "Settings" and scroll down and tap on "Auto detect workouts." Tap on any exercise and turn on "Precise"

No unfortunately, I'm starting this workout manually.

Galaxy Watch@mlamberts Looking at your images, it looks like the Watch 7's GPS probably wasn't connected to the satellites when you first started. Haven't seen the Watch 7 yet, but typically when you manually start a workout the location icon will blink until the GPS location is locked down.
As for the jaggedness, that is often seen when the GPS signal strength is weaker and the device makes fewer good readings.

Galaxy WatchI'm always starting the workout from the "more" option so I can see the green icon is not blinking anymore, so that is also not the case.

Galaxy WatchHi, I also have the W7 (LTE), from my own tests it's marginally better that w6. One thing you can try is forcing the GNSS measurements from the developper mode : settings>developer options>force full GNSS measurements.
You may also want to try disabling all wireless connexions (as a test) before your next run, including bluetooth. That's one trick I haven't tested yet but I read this improves things (and would suggest a software issue).

Galaxy WatchThanks, tested today with "force GNSS measurements" and no difference.
In meantime I had contact with Samsung to return the watch and went to the local store here to get a new one (Exactly the same).
This second watch has exactly the same problem, so I really think it is a software issue now....
Especially that the distance and speed is not correct, that is my biggest issue with this.

Galaxy WatchI had the same GOS issue with GW7. I made this change " force GNSS measurements" and it seems to be better than before but still off track many times. I also turned off the Google Improve accuracy feature. I tried with just LTE(with no phone around) and also just Bluetooth enabled(with phone around).
Is there any other changes to be made and tested.
Hoping Samsung will provide a fix in the next update.

Galaxy WatchI have an LTE model, and when I run, the GPS goes off significantly. It can show a total distance of 5350m even though I've measured 5000m. The same goes for 10k meters. I've tried turning off WiFi, restarting the watch, and resetting it, but without any results. I've also turned on GNSS but nothing.
