It's stated that Galacy Watch 6 and 7 (all versions) were Japan Felicia compatible to add Suica pr pasmo cards. Was this not added to the Galaxy Watch 8?

I'm US based, so this is a US based question. This is not a Japan community question. ALL Japan phones already have built in Felica so it woul8make sense to use the Japan support community. US Iphones have added Felica support. Unlocked phones are international phones, which is why I am asking. Do you have an answer?
Its unknown what features will be added. I've never heard of Felicia compatible. But I don't see why they would add something to the US devices that is primary used only in Japan

Yeah only in Japan so I don't see them adding a feature that's not used in the US

Samsung doesn't not sell any US model watch that has the Felicia chip in them. It's not widely used here. Why would Samsung pay the licensing fee to Sony to put that proprietary chip in a device that is not widely used. If this is a need for you, you will have to find a Samsung watch that is made for the Japanese market.
