Looking to purchase a Galaxy Watch that is compatible with my phone

I want to buy a galaxy watch and I want to make sure it's compatible with my phone. I learned that it will work as long as you are running android 11 or higher, I had to find out what my phone is running and it says Android version 16 and it also says one UI version 8. Which one is the version o should go by. I'm thinking it's 11 but I want to be sure, I'm not the most tech savvy person so please be kind, TIA

All Samsung watches 4 and up are compatible with your phone.

Galaxy watch, I can add it to my phone plan and the watch is 40$ and 10$ a month for service.

You're running android 16, therefore you're good to use the watch. The ui 8 is just Samsungs own interface for things like how the drop down menu looks and safety updates, etc.

When they say 11 and up, that means 12,13 14. 15 and 16. Ui8 is the skin Samsung puts on top of Andeoid.
