Please add the option to remove the 'pill' interface and allow us to see the tiles full screen on our watches.  For those of us over 50 years old, the pill is too small to conveniently see what is on the tile, such as the Samsung Health where we used to see the steps, calories and activity time in a full screen heart with text and now see only a tiny, almost indistinguishable icon.  The Weather app tile opening is also too small but at least it resumes full screen if you tap on it for details.

If you will not give us the option to remove the pill interface, then how can we undo the One UI 8 upgrade and revert to One UI 7?

This 'update' is definitely not useful.  I'm going to have to think about switching to Google phone and watch for my next hardware refresh if these pill apps cannot be undone.

Open the wearable app, click on tiles, in each category is a small pill and then an enlarged full screen pill. 1767273534602.jpg

Not true for me. The enlarged pill isn't always available and also doesn't contain the desired content.

"For those of us over 50 years old"?  I am 70+ and have absolutely no problem with seeing the tiles (large or small) on my watch.  Most of the tiles have larger widgets that fill most of it, so choose a larger one.  Reading glasses may help "those over 50".

The watch isn't helpful if I have to dig out reading glasses to use it. Adding features is fine, but why delete features at the same time?

Turn on the magnifier in accessibility settings.  Once it's activated, all you need to do is triple tap your screen to magnify.  It will magnify the screen and you can move the desired content into view.  Triple tap to turn off magnification.  As far as the tile not showing all the information.  If you have to scroll to the tile anyway, it's only an extra tap to expand, and then you will see your  statistics full screen.

I wholeheartedly agree. UI8 has made my watch practically unusable. Nothing can be read "at a glance" and the full tile versions of the pills are just the small pills with more info crammed into them. If I wanted to *read*, I'd grab my phone.

OMG, "nothing can be read at a glance".  Yes, nothing can, nothing ever could (except for the watch face itself).  You still had to activate your watch screen and scroll to the tile in question.  *Then* you could see the ALL info at a glance. Not everyone needs to see the detail every time they look at a tile, and the pertinent information is available at a glance - HR โœ”๏ธ; sleep score โœ”๏ธ; blood ox % โœ”๏ธ. So, now they made the tiles so you can add large or small widgets and made the widgets stackable.  Once you have to scroll to your tile, is it really so much of an inconvenience to do one more tap to expand it for the details?  Once you tap a tile widget, the information looks exactly the same as the old single tile.  I rather like the stackability of the widgets, it saves having endless tiles and I can stack related widgets on a single tile.  I realize everyone doesn't like this new design, but it is the new design and I don't see it reverting.

Completely agree, I want my full size heart back, it was the only tile I used! There is no option to make this tile full size again, and the only way to have anything near it is to have a watch face with the activity heart on it. But this update has rendered my watch totally useless to me (might be useful for others, but for ME and the way I use it, it's useless).

And for those saying just tap the pill and it opens up all the info, again, not helpful as it STILL doesn't show the rings which was the whole point of the whole thing and I think what we're ALL complaining about!!

Agree! I'm a loyal Samsung watch user, age 54, but I hate the smaller pill views and having to tap on it to get it to enlarge! I liked swiping once to easily see how many steps I have. I'm looking for a different brand app for a large step counter view or I'll just replace this watch, it's several generations old anyway.
