Galaxy WatchThe latest update deprived me of my most used feature of my watch, FIND MY PHONE.
I do not want for 135907 apps to constantly know where I am (for privacy reasons AND battery draining reasons), I just need my watch that's tied to my hand to ring my phone through BLUETOOTH so that I can find where I left it.
Please bring back that feature, thank you.
And no, I don't want to install yet ANOTHER app to track me, I just need that feature back.

Galaxy WatchIf you are talking about the quick panel icon for find my phone, it may have been hidden by the update, but it should still exist. The update may have also rearranged the quick panel, so that the icon is no longer in the position you expect it to be. I remember having to put my panel back in the order I wanted it. Pull down the watch quick panel and check each screen. If you still don't see it, then scroll to the + and tap it to see if the icon is there to add back to the panel. If that is not what you have been using, then you can start using it now.

Galaxy WatchThank you for suggesting this, however, it's the exact thing I'm signaling that doesn't work anymore without extra menu steps and activating the location feature.
I don't need to find my phone on the map, I need to find my phone in the house or wherever I left it and I can't see it, and for that I only need for it to scream, as otherwise it's always on silent for some reason.

Galaxy WatchFind my phone is still a feature on the watch. In some watches, after the update, it doesn't seem to work properly, as it keeps saying the watch hasn't finished registering to your account. Tech support's suggestion was to reset the watch and uninstall and reinstall the wear app, but that was not an option I wanted to take for their breaking it. My error report says they are still working on the issue. Use Google's find hub - it's already part of your Google account. All devices signed into your Google account can be found using the app. The app is already on your phone, unfortunately not the watch, but can be accessed from a computer. In the meantime, put in an error report to add one more voice to the issue. https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Tips-Tricks/How-to-Send-Feedback/ba-p/3001692
Your most used feature? You misplace your phone that often?
You can install WhatsApp on your watch and call your phone if you need to find it.

Galaxy WatchThank you for suggesting this, however, I do not want to carry a computer with me so I can find my phone ๐
I only want my watch to do one of the main things I bought it for. And I do not want my hand forced to have my location known at all times, neither to go through extra steps to turn it on and off, nor to have to buy a new watch when I have one that worked just fine, when until 2 days ago, I had a perfectly good function on my watch, and that's to have my phone scream from where ever it is.
Also, yes, I do misplace my phone very often, as many other people with disabilities and/or disorders probably do ๐

Galaxy WatchOne thing or another is tracking you every single day. Your phone pings off cell towers - they know where you are. Street cams, traffic cams - heck, your car's own GPS. The world has become a surveillance state (intentionally or unintentionally) since the advent of technology. If you don't want your devices tracking you, the only rational solution is to get rid of the devices.
