Feature Request: Running interval options

HI There, i am looking to create a routine of a:

 

warm up (3km)

10 mins fast run

6x400 metres 

warm down

I can't see any options to create a plan or routine on the watch or health app.

for the price point i would have expected a sports watch to have this flexibility, am i missing something ?

You can add the same exercise multiple times to a routine, each instance having its own target (time, distance). Unfortunately I cannot tell you a workaround for the distance measurement not being shorter. You can always create a post labeled feature request, asking that distances below 2km be added. Doesn't mean it will happen, but at least it may be flagged and logged.

thanks for the update.  I'll try the feature request . I'd be happy of i could just create 1 run for workout 1 and apply yhe repeat sets to workout 2 but unfortunately it looks as though the repeat option gets applied to both workouts and I ain't that fit

Did you do add exercise (running), set target (duration), add exercise (running), set target (distance), etc.? Example:

yeh that's a good idea but the lowest the distance will go to is 1km . ideally I'd like to be able to create one in metres

That's where tagging a feature request comes in--to request fractional distances. I am with you, it's ridiculous that lower durations/distances can't be programmed. It will record lower distances (if you didn't complete your run, for instance), but you can't select it. Of course, the voice guide can tell you at varying intervals where you are in your workout, I believe you can program it to tell you at what intervals by turning on the split guide and selecting what fraction of a metre you want to be notified. That might be a workaround.

Just create a post and add the feature request tag. I usually make the post title "feature request" as well, in case I forget to add the tag.

Hi  There, 

I am trying to create custom workouts using the interval option and the Routine but to no avail. 

As an example i'd like to create a routine for the following:

warm up (3km)

10 mins fast run

6x400 metres 

warm down

Unfortunately the routine doesn't give an option for anything less than 1KM, i'd like the option to be expanded to meters, even 200\400\600\800 would be great.

another option would be to create the custom run in the running (interval) option but have the ability to add the repeat option to workout 2 and not workout 1.

either one would be great.
