I started using running coach but RPE always sets to 5 after a workout and I can't see how to change it. Any advice?

Me too. That or when it asks to set it I have to do it immediately and if I don't it sets 5 and I can't change it.

I literally needed to cross the road safely and by the time I was safe the opportunity had gone.

It's as if it was developed by people sitting in a computer lab rather than in the real world of exercise.

Nah nothing.... I raised a ticket but no change.

Keep finding problems with the running coach. For example it asked me to run at a certain pace. I'm not experienced enough to know what that pace feels like so I would rely on the watch telling me.

But if your run section is for 1 minute or less you can't see the stats page. Just a big countdown to the rest phase of your exercise.

RPE autoset to 5 before I can select number. Cant change manually. Now RC adjusts my training exercises much harded. Data ruined. I gave up and went to garmin. Samsung software is **bleep**.

Thank you for reaching out. I can certainly understand your frustration with not being able to change or edit the rate of perceived exertion. I would recommend giving these steps a try:

  1. Sign in to your Samsung account to access the HeartWise feature.
  2. Go to the Samsung Health app and access the Heartwise app inside the Samsung Health app itself.
  3. Select the workout you want to edit and choose the RPE value you wish to set.
  4. Once you have edited and set your RPE, click on save to update the RPE for your app.

This feature is designed to provide more accurate reporting of your activities by allowing you to set the RPE based on your perceived exertion during exercise.

No. Wrong. Heart wise doesn't exist. In running coach previous exercises we need to be able to edit RPE. Did an intern make this?
