Samsung Health not reflecting watch activity

There is an issue within the app and has been since 10/20/25.

 

On my watch I can see all goals met, steps, times and calories. However in the app, I only see steps. I know it's synching because I can see everything else including workout activities. Ive cleared the cache and connected/disconnected.

there are no recorded steps in the chart but you can see total steps for the day. You can see the activity but there are no minutes or calories.

Is there a known issue? Does this involve the AWS outage that just happened ?

Have you cleared the cache on the app and see if it fixes the issue

Yeah, first thing I tried too. Also tried to disconnect the watch, reboot the phone, reconnect it etc. no dice

I've noticed that the watch and phone app don't match. Sometimes the watch reflects accurately and sometimes the app on the phone does. This is an issue with syncing which is horrendous. Add in other apps you may use to record workouts and update health connect and it gets even worse.

I have found a really dumb and bad work around. If your app isn't updating on your phone, close out the app, wait one minute and then reopen. I'd it doesn't update properly once the sync it does is complet you'll need to close the app again and reboot the phone.

Also, keep your wear app open as well. There's some odd syncing issue occurring between all 4 things:

SHealth App
Health Connect
Wearable App

I think its because its a splintered mess over here on Android/Samsung.

I'm having to do the app close out or reboot daily to get it all to work correctly which makes no sense. Or well as close to correctly as possible.
