Does AGEs/ Antioxidant indexes and Vascular load work on other model watches

Does anybody know if these new features will work on the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7?

You need a watch 8 for vascular load and antioxidant index. The AGEs index has been around for awhile and works on the 7. Tapping the tiles would have told you as much.

I don't have a watch and I'm asking before I purchase. So, no, tapping tiles would not have "told me as much" and the information given on me phone only said so much. I am only seeing this on my phone. But thank you for your response.

You can have the health app without having a watch.  Tapping the tile does say only works on watch 8. So, if you want to use these features, you should purchase the watch 8 when it becomes available. As I said, the AGEs index is active now for the watch 7.  First time I've seen an app update for a device that is not yet on the market.

My GW7 is only two months old and now they're gonna force me to buy a Watch 8 because for the Vascular Load and Antioxidant index... Not buying for now but I'm not happy. We all are not until they include the features in Watch 8 as well. This is so unlike Samsung and more like you know who...

No. The hardware does support it. You can read the GW8 specs and it has exactly the same sensors as GW7. So I guess they're forcing us to buy the watch 8.

If you wait a little, there are reports the same stuff will be coming to the Watch 7 as well.  The change requires modifying the code to do the extra things to get it to work.  So it will need an update.  I'm sure that isn't on the front of the to-do list with new models coming out that need tweaked to run correctly with increased users exposing issues.
I was looking for a watch back in April and knew they were releasing the newer model over the summer.  My Watch 5 stopped working 3 weeks before the release of the 8.  I waited because I KNEW from my research that the new one was coming so I didn't buy the 7 because the app told me certain features were going to be available on the 8.

You are not being forced into buying a new Watch 8.  You  lived just fine all this time without a) even knowing what vascular load and antioxidant index are and, b) not having it available to you.  This is not a feature that people were clamoring for, and just because they added it still doesn't mean people want it. If you want it, at some point trade in your GW7 for a GW8, otherwise wait.  Also, even the most technologically uninterested knew the GW8 was on the horizon, so you could have waited.
