Do people actaully use LTE on their watches?

I really do not see the point of an LTE watch if your always have your phone with you in your pocket, i get its a nice thing to have if you sometimes forget to bring your phone with you execpt from that is there really much point?

Actually I had an emergency in the hospital for a few days, everything left at home even the phone, I was amazed how I texted my wife for hours with a galaxy ultra watch 7 nobody knew where I was but texting her was great she couldn't understand i was texting her without my phone and she was able to bring my galaxy s25 ultra I will say my lifeline on my ultra watch again amazing

It's very liberating not to have to bring your phone with you everywhere.  One does not necessarily constantly use the LTE, but for some it's worth having.  There could be instances where one's phone dies, breaks, gets lost or stolen.  They can still communicate.  Had a person I know had an LTE watch when they lost their phone, they would have been able to recover it quickly when it was found, rather than heading right to the carrier store to buy a new one. More importantly, they would have known it had been found, because they would have been able to receive the call.

Everyone does not need the feature, and that's fine.  You are free to purchase the non-LTE version, or not activate the LTE; but for others it's a convenience they are willing to pay for.

Yes when I am on runs and also at times I leave my phone at home to reduce distractions while staying connected.

I use it almost daily, constantly leaving my phone in my office and being able to text/call from my lte watch definitely makes things easier lol

My job doesn't allow us to have our phone with us so we had to put it in a locker prior to entering into the building ( It a warehouse job working with aircraft) but they don't mind a watch which I use to text people and play music connected via a smart glasses.

Yes! I love not having to have my phone on my all the time. I spend lots of time outside and don't have to worry about losing my phone.
