I'm having trouble connecting my new Galaxy Watch 8 to my pixel 8 pro.

During the initial setup, the Bluetooth pairing will fail on the phone due to "incorrect pin". This happens even when both devices show the same pairing number, but it always fails.

Do you have the Galaxy Wearable app installed, or are you just trying to connect via bluetooth?

I've tried with the wearable app and just the Bluetooth settings. Same error with both.

Have you tried clearing the cache on both the watch and the wearable app?

How can I clear the cache in the watch if I can't even pair to complete the setup?

To wipe cache partition on galaxy watch, power the watch down by holding both side buttons simultaneously. On reboot (when the "rebooting..." screen appears) quickly double click the top (home) button to enter reboot mode menu. Choose recovery mode using buttons. Hold top button to select. Once in recovery menu, use bottom button to select wipe cache partition. Use top (home button to select.) Click yes to confirm the cache wipe, then navigate one last time and click reboot system now.

I was able to clear cache partition on the watch and phone. Still experiencing the same issue after those steps.

Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance. I would recommend contacting Samsung support directly.

Did you ever get this resolved?  I am having the same issues and have done everything I can find except factory resetting my phone.

I did, but the answer was to roll back to the Android 16 stable release. I was on the beta test when I tried to pair the GW8. I opted out if the beta and after reverting to the clean stable version it paired immediately.
