My call and text on other device doesn't work with my s25 ultra and galaxy watch ultra it doesn't even show up when I try to connect it

I can certainly understand your concern with not being able to make or send calls on your Galaxy Watch Ultra when not paired via Bluetooth on your Galaxy S25 Ultra. As @LongHiker and @nullandvoid have stated, call and message on another device is for pairing between your phone and tablet. @surferf Sorry for the confusion. Call and text has nothing to do with a Galaxy Watch. It is a setting only between phone and tablet. If the watch and phone are connected in the Samsung wear app, the watch will show call and text information.

Number one, that's not true, because it says on Samsung's official specifications that it does, and there's a toggle in the wearable app for that. And my friend has it working with his Galaxy Watch and his phone and i'm talking about when it's remotely connected,

@surferf The description may include the word "watch" to cover non-Samsung watches. I've never seen any of my Samsung watches appear there.

@surferf you should listen to @LongHiker. It's a fact that call and text on other devices only works between a watch or phone and a tablet. If your watch is connected to your phone via BT or remote connection, you can already perform those functions and it will never show in the other devices list.

I'm saying that it's not connecting via call and text on another device when I'm remotely connected, not when I'm connected through Bluetooth.
And you could text when you're remotely connected, but you can't receive calls or make calls or get call notifications if you don't have call texts on another device

You will never see the watch show up in that list. It does not apply ro the watch. If you are remotely connected via wi-fi, you will still be able to call and text and get your notifications on the watch as long as both devices are connected to the same Samsung and Google accounts. Once again, call and text on other devices ONLY applies between an LTE watch and tablet or phone and tablet, not watch and phone. Does your friend who has allegedly set this up have an LTE model watch and you only have BT?
