Galaxy Watch@TheRabbi Sorry, but if you've already sent your trade-in to Samsung, it is very unlikely that you can get it returned. But, if it fails the trade-in, you will get an option to have it returned, but otherwise it is gone.

Galaxy WatchTo answer your question: No. No settings changes. It was the first thing I checked. I had even reset the 7 Ultra, and there was no change. I'm not going to bother trying a reset on the 2025 since it's fresh out of the box

Galaxy WatchOne thing seems certain though: these watches aren't tracking actual distance or changes of direction in the pool. Seems to be easy to fool it with the right wrist motion; I just haven't found what that motion is so I can AVOID it. 😂

Galaxy WatchAlso, you said you rechecked your settings after the update, but did you check that the pool length hadn't changed to meters? I'm a swimmer, but not only have I not yet gotten the update, my pool has been closed for months. My distance has never been accurate, though, because no one knows the length of my pool and I just keep it at the shortest. I don't normally look at the lap count, because time and HR are the only metrics I really care about.

Galaxy WatchI swim up to four miles at a time, so it's reassuring to have the watch keep accurate count so I don't have to track over 200 lengths; it always did that until OneUI8.
Like I said, I'm working with Tech Support on the issue. I'm getting logs within the hour. Hopefully, they realize I'm not swimming 25 yds in 8 seconds and 25 seconds the next. 😂

Galaxy WatchI've got exactly the same problem. 40 x 25 meter lengths counted as 66 on the 2025 Watch ultra. Never had this issue with previous Samsung watches or Apple watches. It's a bit rubbish for a watch that cost over £500 to be honest. Be interesting to hear what the outcome of your discussions with tech support is
