Accidental nfc trigger

When tapping phone to my galexy watch It reads my watch as a nfc/gym equipment and the same for my watch, it reads my phone as gym equipment, and it's really annoying, because

It happens all the time.
It's a normal thing that people's phones are near their watches the phone should be able to recognize that it's my galaxy watch and my watch is not to recognize that it's my phone, not gym equipment.

Who taps their watch to their phone? Even if I have an accidental encounter between my watch and phone (any phone at all), I have never had an NFC activation.  But, I keep NFC off at all times on my phone unless actively using an app that uses it.  Samsung wallet turns it on and off automatically and I have a routine for Google wallet to do the same.  Just being in proximity to the phone (ie holding the phone in the hand wearing the watch) should not be enough to activate an NFC reading, even if NFC is on.  NFC requires an actual touch to an NFC reader - hence "tap to pay".  It also should not be identifying anything as any kind of equipment.  Perhaps it's not actually the NFC that's being triggered, but something else.  

Put in an error report so a determination can be made as to what is happening here.

Because you have nfc off doesn't mean that everyone else needs to it's a normal thing to keep nfc on in fact, its default
And you said who taps their phone on their watch?Most people have a phone on their watch.When they put their hands down or anything it crosses.It comes with the contact a lot, not on purpose, but it happens quite often.

I have never accidentally tapped my watch on my phone. No, you don't have to keep nfc off, but you should. In any case nfc is not used to identify equipment, it's used for payments so, if anything, nothing at all should happen when you tap your phone. The nfc reader is in a very specific spot on the back of the phone, so I am not sure how you manage to accidentally keep hitting the exact right spot with your watch every time you accidentally touch your watch to you phone. I even tried to replicate your error by turning nfc on, and nothing at all happened - on two different phones.

So, if this is happening to you, the next time it happens, put in an error report, because it's not normal behavior.

They nerve set up happens every time I tap it, but it happens a lot. For example, when you cross your arms
With their arms down or any time when you're just holding your phone and doing stuff?
As I said, it doesn't happen all the time, but it happens sometimes.
And I use Google wallet so turning NFC off would be a big hassle.

Why would I cross my arms if I'm using my phone? When I am holding my phone when I am using it, crossing my arms would be impractical.  If I have it on a table or stand and I'm using it, I might cross my arms, but then my arm is nowhere near my phone.  I just don't understand how you are doing this.

I have never once, in my entire history of owning a phone EVER tapped my wrist or watch against the phone.  It seems like it's an impossible act.  I keep trying to replicate your situation, and I the ONLY way my watch touches my phone is to deliberately tap it against the phone where, again, nothing happens even with NFC on.  Put in an error report- you seem resistant to doing that.  Whatever is going on between your watch and phone is not normal and no user here can help you fix it. He said he has the same issue, and I've met a lot of people like that issue!!! Not everyone's perfect
