WhatsApp save images

The new whatsapp update on wear os is really annoying it now automatically saves images on your watch and there's no way to turn it off

And the archived chats also show on your watch 

Its not synchronizing with the phone settings.

Maybe Choose not to backup videos, photos media in that app?

Actually try settings/ chats/ media visibility off. Watch settings manage content off for albums to sync?

And yes media visibility is off
I didn't have any of these issues till the past update

What version watch do you use? I thought all smart watches have settings with companion app.

Maybe each chat you will to turn on advanced chat privacy to not allow media to be saved on devices. You may could reach out to the app unless someone else here knows.
