I woke up in the middle of the night and looked at my phone to see the time - I have the AOD on.    Instead of the big numbers it showed 2 small clocks.     I tried to change it but it said I couldn't when I had 'Roaming Clock' on.    I had never even seen that setting.   Googled and found it and yes, it was on.   Turned it off and was able to change it back.

A couple days ago I woke up to a black screen.   Panicked.   Figured out that Power Saving Mode/Turn off AOD was turned on.

Last week it was the stock Dynamic Wallpapers reverting back to the stock 'S' wallpaper at appx 7am EST.    Changed to a different wallpaper.

I haven't been in the settings in days.   How are these things randomly getting turned on?    Nobody else has access to my phone.   I know it sounds crazy.   I can't be the only one.

Were you traveling out of your time zone?  Even with "roaming clock" on, the roaming clock does not show unless you are away from your home location.  The roaming clock shows your "home" time and your "local" time.  I do believe you have to proactively turn it on, though.  I have never seen it on the AOD, only on the lock screen.  I understand that there is something going on with the some settings for the home screen, lock screen and AOD with the 8.0 update.  I haven't seen any solutions or workarounds yet.  Your best bet would be to put in an error report.

No, I've never left WV. I've just had the phone for 2 weeks today, and have had several weird things happen with it. Both of the two clocks that were on the AOD said the same time. I should have done a report when each thing happened and taken screenshots. I did do a report when the wallpaper kept reverting back every morning. Thanks for your comment!

The roaming clock will show the same time if your local and home time are the same.  I get that when I go to the Caribbean - or another state in the same time zone.  The roaming clock should only show, though, when you are using mobile data not wi-fi, as it goes by your carrier's location data.  You can make sure the roaming clock is toggled off by going to settings, lock screen and AOD and toggling the roaming clock off.

Yes, I was able to find where to toggle it off.   I just didn't turn it on.    I woke up in the middle of the night w/ those 2 clocks instead of my normal big numbers/time on my AOD.   I hadn't messed w/ the settings in days.   I had never even noticed that setting before.    It's always on Wi-Fi when I'm at home, not mobile data.    This was the 3rd time in less than 2 weeks that I woke up to something weird that I didn't change.   Thanks for your reply!

I know now that they said the wallpaper reverting back to the stock 'S' is a bug, and is supposed to be fixed.   That was my first issue.

I've got a similar problem,  I haven't been abroad and last week my S25 started showing the roaming clock on AOD, so I turned it off and this morning I woke up and the roaming clock is there again! I tried turning it off but it's already off, turning it on and off didn't work either,  the roaming clock won't go!

I hope that someone else can help you - after that one time and turning it off, thankfully it never happened again. Nothing weird has happened with my phone since those crazy first two weeks. Good luck - I hope you get it straightened out soon!
