Galaxy S25After latest update One UI version 8.0, Android 16 on galaxy S25,
When I lock the screen it keeps activating, making the phone hot and obviously draining phone's battery.
I've tried restarting the phone, enabling/disabling power saving, clear cache but none of them works.

Galaxy S25Hello CarlosVivares, welcome to the Samsung Community! I understand your concerns about your device lock screen turning itself on/off after updating. I see where you stated that you have already completed some troubleshooting steps: restarting the device, clearing the cache and using power saving but none of it made any difference with the lock screen turning on/off. Have you tried your device in Safe Mode to verify that it isn't a third party app causing the issue? To boot your device in Safe Mode: Swipe down from the top right of the screen to open Quick Settings panel, Tap the Power icon at the top of the screen, hold Power OFF until Safe Mode icon is displayed. Tap Safe Mode to start your device in Safe Mode, if you have entered Safe Mode you will see Safe Mode displayed at the bottom of the screen. Check to see if your lock screen is still turning off/on while in Safe Mode. If the problem is not present in Safe Mode then you would need to delete any recently downloaded app or recent updated app. To exit Safe Mode simply restart your device as normal.
If Safe Mode did not resolve the issue then we would recommend that you perform a factory reset. Please be sure to back up your device before performing the reset: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10002030
If the issue persists after performing the steps, you can use the following link to find a list of service centers in the U.S. that can do the repair: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/location

Galaxy S25Hi, no notification at all, I also disabled all notification on locked screen to see if that's causing the behaviour.
Also storage is ok, about 30% free.

Galaxy S25I have factory reset the phone (an s23+) trying to fix the lock screen repeatedly locking me out of my phone. No luck. It started when OneUi8 was installed.
If its being caused by an app then unfortunately I need all the apps currently installed and I will have to go with another brand of phone. This type of software glitch is a first for me on any OS Ive had to date and Im not going to lie, a problem like this is a huge turnoff of the brand.
