I'm very disappointed with the Writing Assist feature on my Galaxy S24 & S25. If my text includes the word communism, the AI refuses to run and flags it as inappropriate. If I replace that one word with nonsense like poopsandwich (and worse) it works fine.

This is not harm prevention; it's overreach, it's censorship. I wasn't asking the AI to generate extremist content, just to proofread my own words, fix typos & summarize.

Blocking lawful political terms is censorship. In America, I expect to use my own device without being thought-policed for mentioning political systems. The SINGLE WORD triggered moderation.

I assure you sure the piece it was working on was anything but offensive? I'd be happy to show you. None of this matters Guardrails against harm are reasonable. This is egregious censorship & offensive to me. But refusing any functions on normal words makes Writing Assist useless for open discussion, research, work, or education.

Please adjust this feature so lawful content is not blocked. Without this being fixed, I'm not going to use anything Galaxy AI ever again, and this will be the last Samsung device I buy.

I've bought one every year since the S6, along with top tablets, I will walk away from the ecosystem if necessary, even though I prefer to stay.

Thank you.

I suggest you read your constitution. Your 1st amendment rights only pertain to the government restricting speech. All of the rest of us are free to censor anyone we want.

I'm not advocating for, or against, the context of anyone's composition. As Americans, we are born with inherent rights: among them the right of free speech. A transnational corporation like Samsung, however, also has the right to program its applications as it deems fit for the majority of users. If you feel the app's restrictions on certain key words or phrases violates your right of free expression, your recourse is to simply not use the app. I don't use Samsung's AI for several reasons: censored words being the least of them. I'm not sure what phone manufacturer you believe will better serve your needs, but I wish you luck finding the right device.

This is going to happen as more devices move to feature that controls content and language used. Turn off the writing assist, and/or use opposite terms like anti-capitalism instead. I get this totally, but until people stop delegating their power to their consumerist thinking and to the state which is run by corporations, it will not change, rather get even worse.
