When I insert the Samsung Internet search widget on to the home screen I increase the transparency. However as soon as I press ok, the widget goes back to being opaque. Has anyone else experienced this behavior?

Also most of the other widgets for Samsung apps no longer have a transparency setting. The only choice is clear or with a background color which is very jarring against my background. Samsung can you please bring back the s24 widgets. They worked perfectly fine.

What the heck are you talking about? I'm talking about fully customizing the transparency. Whether you want it or not. I'm not forcing my specific customization on anyone else. Don't be a troll. I'm telling the devs that people are actually complaining about quality-of-life things like this.

I'm writing to make a suggestion to the new now daily widgets and other to have a transparent background! Thanks!

Agreed, they all should be able to remove background!

I just upgraded from the S23 ultra. The frosted glass look isn't good on the S25 ultra. I want the full transparency settings back. My S23 has 10 increments of opacity. My S25 however, has 3.

I have NO idea why they removed more granular widgets (Samsung ones) transparency control in One UI 7. Bring it back and give users a choice like in One UI 6.1. On lowest setting transparency is pretty much non-existent. See sample attached.

Putting widgets on any level of transparency is an app specific function, not the something the device itself controls. For example, using google widget settings, the transparency is set using a slider. Others may only have number steps, while other cannot be adjusted.

I do not know how Samsung itself can control what app creators allow for their app widgets changes. But yes, that would be a good thing if that could be done universally, regardless of the app widget.

I'm talking specifically about Samsung specific widgets - weather, battery, etc.

I was able to apply full (or 99%) transparency to my clock and weather widgets on my home page before One UI7.  Now, under One UI7, when I slide the transparency toggle all the way to the left all of my widgets which used to be transparent are now anything but.  I haven't found any widgets which I can make fully transparent under One UI7.

Please bring back full transparency to widgets like we had before one ui 7. The system widgets barely go invisible. Please Samsung. ๐Ÿ˜ญ
