Widgets transparency settings not working

When I insert the Samsung Internet search widget on to the home screen I increase the transparency. However as soon as I press ok, the widget goes back to being opaque. Has anyone else experienced this behavior? 

Also most of the other widgets for Samsung apps no longer have a transparency setting. The only choice is clear or with a background color which is very jarring against my background. Samsung can you please bring back the s24 widgets. They worked perfectly fine.

Just updated my S24+ finally after getting sick of the notifications to update and I wholeheartedly regret it. This lack of transparency on widgets is driving me nuts and overall it's just an awful looking update

Frankly, only having solid colored widgets when many users set personal pictures as wallpaper is one of the dumbest design decisions I can recall. It really speaks to how the whole one UI 7 update was botched up

I sadly confirm. Samsung's final answer to me is just that's the way it should bé!!

I have found a fix , try to set the wallpaper through Wonderland app module in Goodlock (without the motion effect). The ugly blurry background goes away. Why would they remove the transparency settings ability in widgets? This makes no sense, Samsung STOP REMOVING FUNCTIONALITY

Right now I'm having the same problem with the clock widget transparency setting, and I don't know what to do.

A mi tambien me sucede...x cuestiones de que me robaron el A23, compre el A56...MUY DECEPCIONADO por muchas cosas (algunas ajenas al samsung, como que al migrar mi cuenta, perdi todo mi TimeLap de Maps). Pero en lo que respecta al equipo, noté exactamente lo mismo: al agregar el Widget que quiera, y cambiar su opacidad, todo bien, pero cuando lo aplico se vuelve blanco o **bleep**, incluso, hay algunos q ni siquiera traen la opcion de opacidad. Es tan frustrante todo esto...!!!!

claro u oscuro...¿? el **bleep** sobre mi comentario, apareció automaticamente por escribir una palabra "que traspasa las normas de seguridad" ...? jajajaja...me censuran la descripcion de un color, pero no hace que la opacidad funciones como corresponde...!!!!!
