Can someone please tell me what json file is? My ex boyfriend got into my Google account and all of a sudden, it says json file on some of my settings, and it doesn't let me change them.
a .json file is a configuration file for some apps. How did your ex BF get into your Google account? Did you share your password or use a password for something else that you shared with him? In any case, what files did the extension change for and are you sure they were not .json files before? Can you provide a screenshot? Is the extension on settings or on files in the file manager? if you are having issues because of this, or you think he's put spyware on your device, your best course of action would be to go to an uncompromised device, log into your Google and Samsung accounts, log out all devices and change the account passwords. Then reset your phone and set it up from scratch. If he did, indeed, install anything on your phone, restoring the backup will only put it back and defeat the purpose of the reset.
