Once upon a time the AOD notification icons were colored to each App, for example Whatsapp was green and Instagram was red, which was extremely useful.

But now they're all white. And I have to squint or bring my phone closer to tell them apart.

I would like the option to choose my own colors for AOD notification icons specific to each app.

The icons are now monochrome to maintain a clean and consistent appearance. Samsung still offers color aod notifications by way of edge lighting, though it is not persistent.

I don't know about you, but edge lighting is just broken for me. I think the last time it was actually functional was One UI 6.

That's odd. I've never had any issues with edge lighting.

I can set it and reset it all I want. It doesn't stick.

I've found that it doesn't play nice with Theme Park. Are you using anything in the way of themes?

Must be my device, then. I'm not too concerned about it since it's not my primary phone. But thanks, y'all.
