Unable to update Samsung Galaxy Watch via mobile data, requesting connection to Wi-Fi

Hi, friends 

I'm trying to update my Samsung galaxy to the new update. Its asking me to use Wi-Fi to update. i don't have Wi-Fi at the moment can I update my phone without Wi-Fi and by using my data? 

Can someone help me please 

I'm going crazy ...

Yes, this is always an option!
I was curious whether smart switch would work for the OP using their phone as a hot spot.

I don't think it would since the phone would still be downloading the update

U should be able to update without but u cannot initiate the first installment without wifi hope this helps

Only unlocked devices, carrier phones you have to use Wifi. If you have a computer you can try using your phone as a hot spot and use Smart Switch as your internet to see if it will update.

You will have to wait until you can get to wifi.

@Jimmy-818 If you don't see the option to enable the update over cellular, your carrier doesn't allow it. 

In phone settings -> Software update you should see Auto download. If your carrier allows it, you can click on Auto download and select "Using Wi-Fi or mobile data".

@Jimmy-818 Anyway to go to a restaurant or some place like that and use the public wifi to download the update. I've used Walmarts public wifi before when the power was out at the house.

Idk but im with T-Mobile and every update I've been given an option wifi or data. Ideally wifi is better cuz it's faster but if not available then use data it should be unlimited.

If you don't have personal wi-fi, like @GaryB82 said, go over to a public wi-fi hotspot. T-Mobile has plenty of public hotspots for users, as well as most restaurants, public libraries.  You can even go sit in your T-Mobile store and use their wi-fi.
