It seems thumbnail preview which is a visual confirmation that picture has been taken is no more available in S25 Ultra.
I don''t understand why such a useful and simple function has been taken away.

The small circular thumbnail that is to the left of the camera button when in the camera? If that is the case, Close the camera app, then press and hold on the camera app until a small applet pops up. Then click on the small circle with a "i" in it on the top right to open up it properties. Go to storage and open that, then clear both the cache and data and see if that works. This is wall reset the camera functions and settings back to default, which can be made back to the preferences that were used before.

Thanks. I am actually referring to thumbnail preview that gets generated immediately after taking a picture as a visual confirmation that the picture was taken. When I click a picture, I do not know if the picture is taken or not. In previous models of galaxy, once I click,I used to see a square box which then moves to bottom left to form a thumbnail. In S25 Ultra the thumbnail is formed on bottom left but there is no visual indication that thumbnail shown is actually from the most recent picture taken
I checked with Samsung customer service and they confirmed this feature is not available for S25 Ultra.

That is the one I mentioned. Like shown in the red square in this screenshot I took on my phone.

@suket_t I'm not sure which phone you had previously but I don't remember seeing that. I checked my Fold 6 and Tab S10+. There is nothing like that.

I'm driving, so I don't have time to look this up. I believe it's in developer options and it's called filmstrip in viewer.
