The sound quality and effects keeps resetting when setting equalizer

Sound quality and effect keep resetting every time you set equalizer is anyone else is having this problem

What do you mean?  Have you set a custom sound profile?  This will be overridden if you manually use the equalizer.  Manually tuning the equalizer will override any sound settings (other than volume), that you have set.

Yeah every time i set the equalizer example like to clear or bass it will reset itself back for some reason

Just so I understand what you are saying - when you set the equalizer to certain levels, the settings are not retained, but they keep reverting to one of the preset levels?  What happens if you choose one of the presets?

Yes that is exactly happening and even when I choose a preset .Sounds like its not happening to everyone.

Did you check your other sound settings to make sure they are not conflicting?  Do you have Dolby Atmos on, and do you have it set to anything other than auto?  It may be conflicting with whatever equalizer settings you want to use.  Did you create a custom sound profile?  If you did, when you have your headphones/ear buds on, it will revert to your custom sound profile.  Lastly, have you cleared the phone's cache partition?  This will clear out temporary files and other junk that may be interfering.

Thanks, it was the headphones that did it. Keep reverting to the custom sound profile, thanks, it was driving me crazy.

Yeah, if you want to use the equalizer with your ear gear, you will have to turn off the custom sound profile.
