I actually like the Samsung keyboard but end up using Google because of the mic placement. I use the talk to text allot and the placement is awkward. They made it where you can't move it and that is a HUGE oversight. I guess it is what it is, but come on Samsung. This is basic stuff your missing.

I don't use Samsung Keyboard, but can't you move things around with Keys Cafe?

It's been like that for quite some time. It changed with OneUi6.0. Google keyboard is better anyway. Samsung has no plans to return the mic to a logical place.

You can move the mic from left to right. You can also disable it altogether.
I don't think there is an option to move it into the toolbar. You can, however, set the space bar to initiate voice control on long press.

You can move the microphone onto the spacebar.
Go to Settings > General Management > Samsung Keyboard settings > Swipe, touch, and feedback > Touch and hold spacebar. Change the setting to Voice Input.
Now you can activate voice input by long-pressing the spacebar.
