Galaxy S25
I have a Galaxy Note9 and trying to upgrade to an S25 ultra. When I try to wireless transfer data I cannot get a QR code to complete the connection. I have Smart Switch on both phones and tried everything I saw on YouTube and the Samsung site but can't copy data to the new phone. It does work if I take it from new phone to old but not vise versa. It keeps offering to make the transfer but not to new phone. Did anyone else experience this?

The S25 I comes with a USB C to C connector. On the S25 Ultra, open Smart Switch and choose Receive data โ Galaxy/Android โ Cable. Connect the Note9 to the S25 Ultra using the USBโC cable and the small USBโC adapter (OTG) that came in the S25 Ultra box.
On the Note9, open Smart Switch, choose Send data โ Cable, and follow the prompts to select what you want to copy.
This avoids the QR code completely and should let you copy everything from the Note9 to the S25 Ultra.

The S25U did not have an OTG in the box. It is not needed since both devices are type C.

You need to transfer via the cord that comes with the s25 ultra. Open smart switch on your old phone choose send data and connect the cord. On your s25 ultra open smart switch and choose recieve data and connect the cord and it should transfer all your data fairly quickly.

Just use the cable that came with the S25U.
Connect the 2 device, open Smart Switch on both device.
