Galaxy S25 My most recent Samsung support session was disappointing, as was the preceding session. The recent one ended with the advice to restart the phone. It gave instructions how to do that using the side buttons.
But the session didn't tell me how to copy the phone's existing data before doing the restart. I think that topic was covered in a previous question but I can't locate the answer. Hence, my current question. I believe the process involved using Smart Switch.
Thanks for your help,

Galaxy S25Restart or reset? They are two different things. If you restart your phone, you will lose no data. For a factory reset, you will need to backup any data that is important to you that is not contained in the automatic daily backups. You can move the files onto a flash drive or computer via the file manager or utilizing Smart Switch, will will walk you through the process. Since the the backups are automatic, most people only need to transfer the files they have downloaded that are not saved in the cloud. You can, of course, make a complete backup to your flash drive, provided it has enough space.
