Galaxy S25Hello all,
my issues is as follows:
When I capture screenshots on my S25U, it doesn't copy over to my Galaxy Book5 Pro 360.
Copying images over from either devices works mostly, but screenshots from my phone only generates an empty file that won't let my paste it anywhere.
Weirdly, screenshots made by my phone get captured by Phone Link in Windows, but until I click on the notification, it won't be in my clipboard in Windows.
An additional weird behaviour:
Copying images from my phone sometimes transfers over to Windows instantly, but then Samsung Continuity Service gives out a notification that it has been copied, then the image seemingly disappears from Clipboard, can't be copied, and after a while, can be copied again.
It seems like there are different instances that work agains eachother.
Please help me.
I just bought into this expensive ecosystem and it already consumes so much time troubleshooting.
Why do you need a continuity service, when phone link is also serving the same purpose.
Are those two application maybe working against eachother?
Edit:
Seemingly this issue persists since a few years already:

Is it maybe related to Samsung Flow? I tried a deinstall of Samsung Flow, but it did not change anything. Maybe a first install tampers with the correct use of the Samsung Continuity Service?

Galaxy S25I was not aware that items on the clipboard were supposed to transfer device to device, and I never would expect that they would since each device's clipboard is wholly contained on that device. Now, items in the gallery should sync if connected. My Phone's gallery appears on my non-Samsung Windows 11 computer as a folder in file manager (outside of the phone link interface) when the phone is linked, and I didn't change any settings to make that happen.

Galaxy S25It should transfer since pictures copied to clipboard and text copied to clipboard both do go into clipboard, as intended.
Additionally, I even get a notification for the screenshot in Windows Link and in Samsung Continuity Service.
I just want it to work as intended, because it clearly was intended that way.
I don't want to go into my folder to grab a picture when I could just press CTR+V and be done with it, like with anything else I copy on any device from Samsung.

Galaxy S25Screenshots and clipboard are two different things and clipboards and their contents are device specific.

Galaxy S25Well, as I even activated the feature of screenshot to clipboard on my phone, it explicitly saves it to my phone's clipboard.

Galaxy S25Ok, when the instances are not in contact with eachother, why does Phone Link detect the screenshot and even sends it correctly to windows?
Just not into the clipboard. I mean this should definitely not be intended by Samsung, when both devices are from the same brand and it even gives me a notification for being copied to clipboard by the continuity service. Why should it then even try to copy it, when it is not intended? Makes no sense. Even gives me an error for trying to pasting it. Phone Link for whatever reason registers it and gets the picture, just not where I want it to. Funnily, the Samsung Continuity Service just deletes it and I can't even get it from the windows notification after it "copied" it.
There is definitely something that doesn't work as intended, no matter what you say.
If it isn't intended then it shouldn't even give me an error, let alone interfere with other services. I would understand it, if there wasn't any notification at all, but that's not the case.

Galaxy S25Alright, but if that's true, isn't that a weird design decision?
I can manually copy any picture, any text on my phone and instantly paste it on my PC with CtrlV, but Screenshots are an exception for it, but, weirdly enough, not the other way around. I can make a screenshot on my PC and it just is transferred to my Phone's Clipboard. What's the reasoning behind that?
Thanks for being patient.
