Has anyone else experienced this problem since yesterday? There was a global issue with MS365 and exchange online accounts that was resolved after a couple of hours. However, while Microsoft states the issue was resolved, my office 365 exchange account is still not authenticating properly with Samsung email. It continually asks for the password to be re-entered, and after tapping on that prompt, it will momentarily bring up the screen and then revert back to the email app and act like it is synchronizing, but no new emails will download, and the last sync time will still show as some time in the past, like a few hours earlier.
I have removed my 365 account completely from the email app and also removed it from the accounts section in the phone settings, and re-added it. When I do that, the emails do download, but after approximately a 1 hour, this repeated prompt for authentication happens again.
I am not experiencing this issue on other phones or devices after Microsoft's issue was resolved yesterday.
Lastly, if I install the Outlook app on my phone and configure the same office 365 account, the errors do not occur. Seems to be limited to the Samsung email app at the moment.

Same here.  It does not affect my laptops, desktops only my phone.  Reboot of phone doesnt appear to fix it.

I have been having the same problem for the last week, looks like it started after the latest OS update.

I ended up removing the Samsung email app and just using Outlook. Thankfully, Outlook also syncs the exchange calendar and contacts just like the Samsung app.

Same here. I tried everything, clear cache, uninstall - install but nothing solved the problem.

Luckily, The Outlook app seems to work flawlessly so far.

I have an S25 and assumed that the issue was related to the latest update. I uninstalled the email app, cleared the cache, removed the account, and then added the email again, but the problem persists. I had an old S10 lying around, so I activated the email on it, and the same message appeared regularly. This suggests that the issue is not related to the update.

It’s happening to one of my users too.  I’m trying to avoid moving to outlook to “fix” an issue.

Are you on a corporate 365 account or personal?

I work as an Office 365 admin in an educational setting. It seems like A1 licenses no longer can use third-party email apps (at least in our environment). If we bump a user to an A5 license, everything is fine with third-party apps. Of course we always steer users to use the Outlook app as it works and is actually pretty good.

Just a thought...
