I noticed a peculiar behavior with my s25 ultra. I have a nightly sleep schedule that activates automatically at 10pm on week nights. In the sleep mode, all notifications are muted and DND turns on. Last night, I manually turned on sleep mode and for some reason it still allowed loud Gmail notifications to come through. I restarted the phone, reactivated both DND and sleep manually, ensured that my phone was muted (fully silent and not in vibrate). But the notifications still kept coming. I am not sure if this is a bug of some kind. But this happened last night and now even continues when the phone is fully on silent and DND mode. I can understand getting the pop up on screen, but the noise? Completely unacceptable. Please help!
Is it only Gmail? or any notification sound that seemingly bypasses the muting and do not disturb? Check the do not disturb settings within sleep mode (each instance of do not disturb can have different parameters) to make sure you didn't allow notifications from Gmail as one of the exceptions.
