Hello, I just switched to android and I bought a font... but when I open my Google messages, the font isn't there. .. anyone know how to get it to convert to the font I want ?

I could only find how to change the font nothing on a font downloaded

I was able to change it, but it doesn't change it when I open the message app. It'll change keyboard and everything else in phone except messaging app.

can change the font size in Google Messages by adjusting your device's settings. You can also customize the appearance of your chats.
Change the font size
Open your device's Settings app
Select Accessibility
Select Text and display
Select Font size
Use the slider to choose your font size
Customize the chat appearance
Open Google Messages
Select a chat you want to change
Tap More
Tap Change colors
To preview a theme, tap the color from the selection
To select a theme, tap Confirm
Format text in Google Chat
Open the Chat app or Gmail app
Go to a conversation
Enter a message
On the left, tap Action menu Format
Select an option: Bold, Italic, or Underline
Tap Send
Change the font size
Open your device's Settings app

italicize text in Google Messages on an Android device, you can use the Format option in the Action menu. You can also use underscores to italicize text.
Using the Format option
Open the Chat or Gmail app
Go to a conversation
Enter a message
Tap the Action menu on the left
Tap Format
Select Italic
Tap Send
Using underscores
Open Google Chat
Go to a conversation
Enter a message
Wrap the word or phrase you want to italicize in underscores
You can also use a subset of Markdown syntax to format text messages in Google Chat. For example, you can add an underscore (_) before and after the words you want to italicize.
