Anyone know how I make android auto work better? Constant disconnection. If not just slow performance with music and ui navigation. Is there an official fix? My other android phones work pretty well.
Frequent Android Auto disconnections usually come from the USB cable or phone settings. Try using a high-quality, short USB cable, clear Android Auto cache, and keep both the app and phone software updated. If issues continue, check your car’s firmware or try wireless Android Auto if supported. No official universal fix yet, but updates often improve stability.
Remove the car from the paired Bluetooth list in the S25U. Go to settings/general management/reset/reset Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings then press the reset button. Note this will also reset the Wi-Fi connection as well, but that is an easy login to the network function. It will also remove any other paired device to the phone (like ear buds, watch etc) so any of those wil need to be paired again to the device. Then pair the S25u and the car together again and see how that works.
As @Tom6068 stated resetting Wifi and Bluetooth settings will also delete all WiFi passwords. Thought it might be important to know this little tidbit before resetting.
