I just came over from one plus 13r and I got to say OnePlus definitely is a flagship killer. Better support Better voice recognition more fluid touch screen. More intuitive. And the OnePlus community app actually gets to OnePlus corporate. Unlike Samsung members app

Perhaps. Lots of factors to consider when purchasing a device. If beta testing is of prime importance to you, factory unlocked variants of the the current S-series standard models (base, plus, ultra) will always get priority. Something to think about for the future.

You can't compare being in a beta to getting regular updates. They're two completely different situations. Of course there will be more & frequent updates in a beta. They're testing the builds and want feedback. That's how betas work.

OnePlus has a completely different beta testing structure than Samsung has. That's a fact and it's unlikely to change. Samsung has a ton of different devices to support and has to limit their public betas. Otherwise, they would never put out stable releases.

Again I'm only talking about the S25 edge. All other S25 variants are getting the support i expect from a flagship device. Samsung dropped the edge line for 2026 and 2025 edge owners already feel the affect of dropping the edge is what I'm saying.

I get you're disappointed about the Edge not receiving the kind of attention from the company that you think it should. But the decision has been made. Nothing will change that. The S25 Edge will receive all the updates that were promised at release. Nothing more, nothing less.
