**bleep** Samsung the S24 already got the January security update. For the love of God please give us S25 edge and update. This is a flagship and last year's models should not be getting updates b4 this year's models

Security patches may originate from Google, but they're released to OEMs for distribution. Samsung incorporates Google's security patches into their own periodic security updates (monthly, bimonthly, or quarterly, depending on device).
