Galaxy S25Last year some of my text messages in existing chats have been randomly disappearing. My RCS chats are on and have been for a bit. And it isn't always in the same thread that they disappear from. I'm on a Samsung S23 Ultra. My husband was also having the same issue on his S22 Ultra and it was happening so often that he finally switched messaging apps back to the Samsung messaging app. I've tried switching apps to Google, Samsung, SMS Organizer, True Caller and Textra SMS and still have the same issues. I have also tried switching service providers as well as done a factory reset. All with no success.
When this didn't work, I upgraded to a S25 Ultra. Still the same issues. I did another factory reset on the new phone with no luck. At 1st I was thinking, maybe I didn't send the text but the person on the receiving end verified that they have a text from me. It doesn't seem to matter what app I use to text, they still randomly disappear and random times in different threads to different people.
I finally downloaded and app called Beeper that actually shows that a message has been deleted. See screenshot.
The phone could be sitting untouched and the message be there and when I go back to read it, it is gone. I have only installed apps from the Play Store to the Galaxy Store. When this 1st started happening I hadn't added any new apps in a long time. I have since deleted quite a few apps as well.
And of course, it is hard to tell if it is fixed because it seems to happen randomly. Support with my carriers and Samsung has been less than helpful at this point. I would have thought a new phone and new carrier would have fixed it but it didn't.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Galaxy S25I am experiencing the same thing on my Samsung S25 Ultra and I've only had the phone for five days. They told me to return it and get a new one but I am now concerned that the new phone will do the same thing.

Galaxy S25I had the same issue with Samsung messages, S24 and AT&T. I switched to S25, Verizon, and Google messages, and it is still happening!
