The Samsung S24 Ultra demo appeared promising under optimal lighting conditions; however, the actual product fell short of expectations.

Optimal lighting conditions?  In a Verizon store?  I agree that some retail spaces have better lighting than real world situations, but it shouldn't be that much of a major difference. Or did you mean the pre-loaded photos in the gallery? Can you upload a photo or two taken with your phone?

Your camera might be water damaged? Did you drop it in water?

The device saw minimal use, with no applications or games installed. I'm confident there was no mishandling, as it wasn't entrusted to anyone else.

Oh, maybe it's a flaw in the camera system on your particular model? You should try to take it to samsung or another store that could try to fix your phone

A YouTube reviewer reported that Samsung is aware of the issue and plans to release a fix next week. If the fix is unsatisfactory, we should consider returning the device.

Hello people, I love my Galaxy S25 Ultra, but I think I have some issues with the camera, unlike my past phone, the S23 Ultra. I think the software needs an upgrade. The moon looks blurry, faraway pictures look like drawings, and close-up pictures are messed up; the camera struggles to choose between different settings. Has anyone experienced this issue?

The moon was always a fake photo.

It's not fake, its been debunked... The whole bright circle light turns into a moon has been disproven, just look it up. It isnt fake at all, its just optimization and it uses the bright light and adjusts the exposure to darken the outside to get that clean shot and you can see on the preview before even taking a Pic. It just does well optimization. Stop spreading false rumors, why are you even here

This is factually wrong and has been studied and shown in plenty of tests. It's using AI to add detail to the image using training on countless images of the moon. It creates detail where there was none. It's not using multiple frames, it's not using super resolution to sharpen it. It's using a Neural Network to generate data based on training data of the moon. Now, to determine this, I did as you stated to do and I looked it up. I saw the testing. I read the data and methodologies used and came to the same conclusion as those who have tested this. Simple tests you can do at home even show it's using a NN to generate detail, such as taking photos of circles on sky backgrounds, or placing squares over an image of the moon and taking a photo of that photo and seeing the ai generate moon texture over the square, or the person who drew a smiley face onto a photo of a moon and then took a photo of it, and the AI incorporated the smiley face but as a moon texture. This is not simple photography tricks to create a good moon image, this is generating data where there was none using a Neural Network. Perhaps you have a slight misunderstanding of how it's achieving those results based on a misinterpretation of something you read in the past and need to also look it up again. Cheers
