Hi 

I'm new here and to the S25 ultra. 

 

I'm struggling to get the features of call merging. 

So the option to add a call is clearly there. However it's not showing the features to merge.  This is not available to me. 

I have gone onto the 02 app and spoken with customer service as only had the device 1 week on Saturday 15/11 

So asked if this is a device issues or my phone package issue's?  He went through some troubleshoot steps which I completed and said this either was already set or I changed but this didn't make a difference.  I then Google about the safe mode option and tried the calls via this step and again - add a call no issues- merge >no 

Is there someone that can assist me with this please?  Or am I to go into a samsung shop?

Hello Dell1310, welcome to the Samsung Community! I understand your frustrations with the calling features not working correctly on your device. First lets clear the cache partition on your device: power off your device, hold the volume up and power buttons together at the same time, once the Samsung logo appears release the power button, select clear cache partition and reboot your device as normal. Now open the phone app and enter a phone a number or contact, tap the call icon, once the person answers the call then tap add call to add another contact/phone number, tap the call icon, once that person answer the call then you will see Merge to begin a conference call. Tap the conference call drop down menu to manage the call including separating or ending individual calls. To end the conference call, tap the red End Call icon. 

If you are still having issues try your device in Safe Mode: 

Booting your Samsung Galaxy into Safe mode | Samsung CA

While in Safe Mode try the above steps again. If your device is working correctly in Safe Mode then there is a third party app causing the issue. You would need to uninstall any recently downloaded third party app.

Hello. 

 

This method has not worked for me. I had already attempted the steps prior to posting on here, in the safe mode.  I was not able to merge the calls. 

I tried to do the( cache partition) as you had advised but i was unable to  bring this up following your instructions.  I don't know if I did this correctly or this is not available for me to access /view? When I go to turn the device off using the side keys I get various options on the pop up screen to do /use but just not what you had advised. So I am no better off. Thanks again.

Hello Dell1310, if the above troubleshooting steps did not resolve your issue then you would need to reach out to your carrier for further assistance.
