I have a Samsung S25 Ultra, today I wanted to take a picture of an important paper. The camera started to make a weird noise like a shutter noise and than the screen will fade and not take a picture. I'm usually on top of updates and information. I've been busy with life and haven't had time to be on the loop. I'm one to keep my phones protected and don't let my kids use it. I'm not sure what it can be but I when in the camera app and turned off this look like a flower on the bottom left and it stopped making the noise so far. Has anyone have a similar issue with the camera?

Galaxy S25Is the camera working properly now? That flower icon is showing the "Focus Enhancer" being enabled as it auto-switches to the ultrawide camera when in close up shots to be taken. If this is not yet installed, go to the Galaxy Store and get the Good Lock app. Install and open that, then in the list of plugins, look for and install Camera Assistant. There one can try a few settings and see if they will help with the issue.
Toggle off "Auto lens switching". and/or toggle on "Prioritize focus over speed", considering the use stated in for the purpose of taking a snapshot of an important paper. These can always be reversed outside of a specific needs for certain image taking. If the issue continues and the camera "fades", then open settings/apps/camera and open that, then go to storage, clear both the cache and data. This will reset the camera to factory settings but it is a very minor thing to set back up.
Also (and this should be done with any major update), power off the device, then press and hold both the side (power) and volume up buttons at the same time until the recovery screen comes up. Then using the volume buttons to move the highlight, move it over "Wipe cache partition", click the side button, use volume button select "Yes", click the side button again. It then will default to the top highlighting "Reboot system now" and click the side button. See how that works overall. If that still continues, call Samsung support 1 (800) 726-7864, or call/take it to a UBreakiFix store which is free under Samsung warranty.
