S25 Ultra Apps On One Page

Hi so it looks like the apps are now on one page. So if you have 100 or so apps you have to scroll and scroll to get to the app you want. That isn't time efficient. Is there a way to have them in separate pages as before so you do not have to scroll for hours finding apps?

Tap on the 3 dots in the search bar and select sort and select custom and it will go back to the old way

Oh my! I've never noticed those three dots on the app search bar before. Thanks for that tidbit!

That helps indeed. It split it into pages but the apps are not in alphabetical order and pages are not full with maximum number of apps. When I tap alphabetical it goes back to the one long page again.

They won’t be in  alphabetical order in horizontal pages they can only be in alphabetical order in the vertical list view this was changed in 7.0

Ughhhhh!!!!!! It appears you can tap one by one and manually move them. But what a tedious task to do this if you have a ton of apps.

Yeah you can manually move them to the order that you want in custom view how I have mine setup I have 4 folders Store, Social , Media, Misc. And then I have every thing that I may use below the folders I have mine down to just one page

I like it actually. If it's in alphabetical order, then it's no problem since I look for the apps by name. If I have them sorted by pages I am scrolling left/right by the same number of apps anyway except they will fit on one page at a time. .

In the end it's all a good choice to have.

I love the vertical view for apps. It's a Google thing, as many things in Samsung are now. So much better than scrolling thru apps sideways. I was always hitting the go back area of the screen which would then take me out of the apps area.

You can bundle like apps into folders. That should bundle them down. I have also just used the app search bar to find apps I have on my phone.
