I pre-order the Samsung s25 Ultra with some other accessories and and somehow I got two of the loop bands. I want to return one still within that 15-day window, and now they want to charge a restocking fee? They've never done that before. The way Samsung is going these days I'm switching to Apple and be done with it. Now instead of just returning the $30 band, I'm going full Apple. They never charge any stocking fees.

I just returned the 16 pro Max to the Apple store and there was no restocking fee so that is completely incorrect

And previously neither Samsung nor Apple ever charge a fee to return an item within the 15 window of buying it

Why not just keep the extra band? It apparently didn't cost you anything extra. Sell it, give it away, shove it in a drawer.

You didn't order it, and they charged you for it and sent it?  Do you have your order confirmation? Did you accidentally hit the "add" button twice to add two bands?  I know sometimes my browser freezes and I think an item has not been added so I click again, next thing you know there are two of the item in my cart.  Did it come with the band included and you had to select which one you wanted, and you selected one for purchase by accident? It is my understanding the purchase price of the watch includes the band, and you select which band you want.  Is it possible that instead of selecting the band that's included with the watch, you accidentally selected an extra one for purchase?  $30 for a watch band is outrageous.

I just looked at the website and I don't see how you could have possibly accidentally ordered an extra band, so the error clearly would have been on the part of Samsung, and they should not have charged you for it, let alone a re-stocking fee for returning it.  It's pretty straightforward.  Pick your watch, pick the band, add to the cart, check-out. It looks like you have to go to a completely separate section of the site to order an extra band.

When I spoke to a manager, then that charge went away. But the customer representative was going to charge me the restocking fee, which arguably isn't that high but still the principal. To return a parlor to Apple it's such an easy thing just go in they give you the money back as long as you're within your return window

I've had a Samsung device since the S8 and this is the first time this has ever happened. Customer service was one of the things that I liked about Samsung...
